City Employee Payroll Change Special Loan Program for October 2010
City Plus credit Union has been made aware that some City of Calgary Employees are going to be experiencing a payroll transition from a “predicted” pay cycle to an “actual” pay cycle in October 2010.
As your Credit Union, we want to try and assist these employees through this transition.

Marion Lock and Barb Lawson Memorial Scholarship Funds |

March 1 to May 31 Annually
Qualifications:
- Application must be sponsored by a Credit Union Member who is in good standing and a member for a minimum of 2 years.
- Applicants are eligible for award upon completion of grade 11, 12 or any post-secondary year.
- Once Applicant receives a Scholarship, they are no longer eligible for any further scholarships.
- Applicants must be a full time student in the year that the scholarship is applied for and registered for full time status in post secondary education the following year.
- Notice of the award will be given at this year's City Plus Credit Union Financial Review Meeting.
- Letter of acceptance from the post-secondary institution.
All submissions shall be in the following format:
- A letter of introduction from the Credit Union sponsor
- Copies of transcripts from the previous completed year's education
- Copies of all current transcripts from the year in which the applicant is applying
- A letter of introduction from the applicant must accompany the application. This letter should include educational aspirations and career goals.
- Applicants resume must be included with application.
- Notification of any additional bursary funds applied for or obtained that would be applied to the same year that City Plus Scholarship would be given.
- Summary of estimated costs.
- Letters of reference from at least two teachers for the current year of education
- Applicants resume must be included with application.
