History: A tale of two Credit Unions |
|
Calgary Transit Credit Union was incorporated in 1941 & Calgary Civic Employees Credit Union was incorporated in 1942. Together, we have worked with the City of Calgary to provide a benefit to the City of Calgary Employees and their families. We merged November 1, 2005 into one great Credit Union to serve you better. |

The credit union is governed under the Credit Union Act of Alberta and will make all efforts necessary to offer its members a strong, secure, member-owned and member-responsive financial institution.
The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of the credit union will endeavor to satisfy the savings and borrowing needs of its members with competitively priced financial services. They will do their best to earn the respect and loyalty of the members through a commitment to friendly, efficient, professional, responsive and confidential service.
The long term objective is to achieve superior equity levels within the Alberta credit union system in addition to offering its members the highest possible rates on deposits and the lowest rates possible on members' loans. |
